Liberal groups are seeking to intimidate churches and pastors that take stands on public policy issues. Americans United for Separation of Church and State has filed 50 complaints in the past decade urging the IRS to deny tax-exempt status to particular churches and ministries. Additionally, a local group in the Kansas City area is actually sending spies to church services in an attempt to catch pastors engaging in prohibited political activities.

Maybe we should engage in a similar activity, targetting the "Christian Left" churches that appear to be a standard part of the Kerry tour. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
Complaints about the activities or operations of tax-exempt organizations that are inconsistent with exemption should be sent to the Exempt Organizations Examination Division, 1100 Commerce Street, ATTN: T:EO:E, Dallas, TX 75242. The complaint should contain all relevant facts concerning the alleged violation of tax law.

Just read the news between now and election day and do on online search for the address of every black church the libs use to speak and agitate from the pulpit.
This place becomes more like the Soviet Union every day.

If they are targeting specific churches, can this be labelled a hate crime? Criminal harassment with a bias enhancement? They do not target black churches, or muslim mosques? Are they going to synagogues? Sounds like a bias crime to me.

(Liberal groups are seeking to intimidate churches and pastors that take stands on public policy issues. Americans United for Separation of Church and State has filed 50 complaints in the past decade urging the IRS to deny tax-exempt status to particular churches and ministries.)should read:
"Democrat communist groups seek to destroy Christian bible believing church's and pastors that know the doctrines of Jesus Christ do not support their ungodly activities and must be silenced and contained to bring in one world order.
(Americans United for Separation of Church and State has filed 50 complaints in the past decade urging the IRS to deny tax-exempt status to particular churches and ministries.) should read: The atheist movement that controls and robs liberal unbelieving Christian church goers is demanding the IRS to deny tax-exemt status to bible believing Christian conservatives and ministries that know and work to preach the salvation good news gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world; (how that if a man will believe and confess how that Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose the third day for our justification, he shall be saved)has filed 50 complaints....
The unmitigated gall of the atheist humanist left wing democrats against Christian's and American citizens rights and liberties is hard to bear.

This practice has been going on for a long time in America. Back in the 80s, traditional Episco churches were constantly under seige by lefties in the congregation. And of course, the liberal wing would then threaten to remove pensions, etc., from the traditional clergy until they stopped speaking from the pulpit against abortion, homosexuality, etc. Meanwhile, left-wing black churches have free reign when it comes to using the pulpit to politicize..
