'Would sussie object to the Viking Kitties hunting Trolls?'

My guess is that she's against ANY form of hunting because it involves those nasty old guns.

Bear meat is delicious. I prefer it to beef. If I had the time, I'd be joining in on this hunt.

Vision--why don't you shoot a Maryland bear, and invite all us Maryland Freepers over for a barbecue (I'll volunteer to help cook, if you need the help). It would be a great excuse to get together. I have plenty of venison to contribute if necessary (or I could smoke a goose breast....)

Renfield, I would love to hook up with some huntin' freepers. You do any bowhunting?

I hunt as often as I can, but don't do much bowhunting. This will probably change soon....the deer have ruined my garden, and are working on ruining everything else I have, but someone built a day-care center right next to it, so I can't shoot behind the house anymore.

Yet when it comes senseless killing of animals for some male gratification

I see. It's not about the bears, it's about bashing men.

Piss off.

(HINT- you are not at the top of the food chain)

We are not ALONE at the top of the food chain. I've eaten bear meat. It makes pretty good sausage.

I'm sure that, under the right circumstances, a bear would be happy to return the favour.

Bears are omnivores, they eat carrion.

As are pigs. And lobsters.

They need to be thinned out = Maryland DNR, Dept. of Natural Resources holds meeting about WMd Bears. They are generous enough to hold about 7 meetings (one in WMd) and six in the chardonnay areas of the state.

So, it is guaranteed that people who never see Bears hanging around their garbage and kids get to have their opinions heard. It's a farce, a sham - a total setup.

These people think the outdoors is going to the local hiking trail for a 15 minute walk and returning to their Ansel Adams meditation room. These people are ecogeek morons who have no clue about what it means to live in the western part of the state.
