I remember a time in my hometown when a protestant church--can't remember which one--starting playing hymns over a loud speaker every night. The music was lovely--but apparently someone complained--and after about a week, they were silenced. It may have been overkill--if they had played it only on Sunday, perhaps no one would have complained.

I cannot imagine having to listen to something in Islamic being broadcast across the city several times a day. I should think that would be right up there with water torture!

I have heard it, and it's not music.

It is some miserable muslim wailing uncontrollably for a couple of minutes.

A few weeks of that five times a day and I'd have to break out the Zoloft.

I recommend that some of the Christian churches in the vicinity start broadcasting a rebuttal, in Arabic, proclaiming Jesus as the one and only Savior. This should be timed to begin directly after the muslim message.

I wonder how that would fly?
