The joy of living and working in Brooklyn is that I don't have to deal with the subway. I get to drive my truck to most destinations. Except when I have to go into Manhattan, then I have to take the sub.

The problem with New York city is that in the outer boroughs mass transit sucks. The subways all head towards Manhattan and there are no cross borough lines to connect the lines. The result is that if you don't have a car in the outer boroughs, getting around is a pain.

Doesn't the G run directly from downtown Brooklyn to Jackson Heights in Queens?
