did you catch the article? most of it seemed like a bit of hysterics from an overly imaginative woman, and apparently some of the investigators have stated they think the eyewitness accounts werent reliable. admittedly, most people would perhaps get a bit scared and have some thoughts if they saw those guys on their flight, but afterwards, and after the investigation, you might start to figure out 'hey, maybe they WERE really musicians?'
at least shes getting some self-promottion for her website and publications out of it.
In Oklahoma City, the terror cell is made of of those in the auto repair business. Can't "musician" be a cover?
Yea, and maybe the twin towers are still standing.
For those Muslims who sympathize with Osama Bin Laden, 9/11 was in essence a "coming out" party. They can suddenly be "in your face" and they relish in the fact that you are helpless to do anything about it. They know the limitations and they know exactly how far to push it. They have been well briefed on America's "freedom of religion" and know more about their "rights" than most Americans.
I see this as an abuse of freedom in the same way that mentioning that you have a bomb on a airplane, suggesting that you would like to see the President dead or yelling "fire" in a movie theatre is an abuse of one's freedom of speech.
Despite what you might think, people do not choose to live in fear. The author and all of us are entitled to "freedom from fear". The men on the plane trampled those rights.
And maybe Mohammed Atta really was a student. What's your point? That terrorists can't have jobs? That terrorists wouldn't use a cover story to get 14 Arabs onto the same plane without arousing suspicion?
Brave talk from you, but pilots feel differently.
The second pilot said terrorists are "absolutely" testing security. "There is a great degree of concern in the airline industry that not only are these dry runs for a terrorist attack, but that there is absolutely no defense capabilities on a vast majority of airlines," the second pilot said.
One "hysterical" woman wouldn't have brought out the FAM, police, and FBI to meet these guys at the gate. If you'd read the thread on this a few days ago you'd have seen that other FReepers have posted in the past about similar incidents they'd personally experienced. That's right, one hysterical journalist, a man comforting his crying wife, and other passengers were all mistaken so you go one pretending nothing was going on on this or any other flight.
Welcome to Free Republic, Mohammed.
