Welcome to tonight's CBS Evening News
Did Rather ever retract and apologize for his accusation against candidate Bush that he made at the 2000 convention (for what I can not remember at this time)? The judge who put the information out came forward and revealed himself as the source, and if memory serves me right, the judge was a Clinton appointee.
...and now for our last story this evening. Today it was revealed that Sand... ooops, sorry, they tell me we're out of time. Tune in again tomorrow for 'as the DNC Spins'.
Republicans continue to try and deflect attention from the upcoming "911 Report" by alleging a former Clinton Administration staff worker obtained documents from the Commission. And in other news, sever allegations of Dick Cheney's cannabilism continues to dog the GOP campain. Here with an in-depth look is John Edwards.
An accidental trifle, exploited by the Bushies to distract from the Halliburton scandal.
Ya nailed it #4.
"Bush sucks. Kerry roolz. I'm outta here in a year, so I don't give a #$%^& what anyone thinks. Now get that @#$% camera outta my face."
.....and in other news, Today Sandy Berger, former Clinton Administration NSA Chief, was accused by the Bush Administration of taking his own papers home..........
As much as I dislike Dan Rather I concede he is a colorful person. I especially like it when he speaks in metaphors and limericks.
I would like to see the editorial notes for the NYT to see how they decided to bury this story on page 17.
Reports of Samuel Berger taking money from foreign governments and a tit for tat exchange for assistance with leaking damaging information about Republicans is unsubstantiated. It's time to move on...
1)Will Dan Rather report the Berger story?
2)Will it snow in Hell today?
If you answered no to the second question, then that is your hint for question #1.
During a commercial break.
Why do their work for them? At least get paid as a news writer!
Not since the days of McCarthy and the witch hunts of the 50's has a party stooped so low.
Sandy Berger trying to prevent the misuse of documents attempted to secure them from the Republican led disinformation machine.
Freep the News Desk.

I called back and the girl answering said "she didn't know about the story"
How can a little ole' woman from Alpharetta GA know about this story and not the big time journalists from CBS News????
Just as he did with Clinton, like this:
Good evening, now for the story on the REPUBLICAN, Ken Starr's investigation of the President's PERSONAL LIFE.
Instead of this, JUDGE, Kenneth Starr is investigating alleged perjury in a sexual harrassment lawsuit, by President Clinton.
This is why the public still thinks Clinton was just a "bad boy", and Starr is a pervert.
And Saddam was innocent and Bush is a terrorist.

"Bush aide took secret terror files"
WASHINGTON - President Bush's national security adviser, Condaleza Rice, is the focus of a Justice Department investigation after removing highly classified terrorism documents and handwritten notes from a secure reading room during preparations for the Sept. 11 commission hearings.
Rice's home and office were searched earlier this year by FBI agents armed with warrants after she voluntarily returned documents to the National Archives. Still missing, however, are some drafts of a sensitive after-action report on the Bush administration's handling of al-Qaida terror threats.
Rice and her lawyer said Monday night she knowingly removed handwritten notes she had made while reading classified anti-terror documents at the archives by sticking them in her jacket and pants. She also inadvertently took copies of actual classified documents in a leather portfolio, they said.
"I deeply regret the sloppiness involved, but I had no intention of withholding documents from the commission, and to the contrary, to my knowledge, every document requested by the commission from the Bush administration was produced," Rice said in a statement to The Associated Press.
