I got my letter from them too..... I guess they have been real busy sending out those letters..... hehehehehe.
Mom, what Hoosiermama was talking about was a reply I made to a post the other day. The post mentioned that Bush was presented a quilt made by the Amish in Lancaster County on his visit there.. and a Mr Stolzfus presented it. I was telling her that the lady I bought most of my Amish collection from is named Hannah Stolzfus and so thought prehaps Bush's quilt came from her too. I know its a common name there... but Hannah is famous in Lancaster County for her quilts and everyone there will point you to her if you ask to buy a quilt.
Hey APD....How ya doing? Are campgrounds on the adjenda this summer? Didn't realize you were into quilts too...Most of mine are old ones I've picked up at auctions.... For everyday use use Wally world. I've even "papered" the wall of the den with one of those.....Quilt on one and homespun on the other walls.
WHen you come up, we'll have to visit my friend K who quilts one or two a year.....
