University Establishes Scholarship for Black Homosexual Activists

LANSING, MI (Talon News) -- A new scholarship for black homosexual activists will be available next Spring at Michigan State University (MSU) and will be administered by the school's Office of Financial Aid and Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Trans-gender (LGBT) Concerns.

The scholarship was warmly welcomed by such campus groups as the MSU Same Gender Loving Students of Color, Internationals, and Allies and the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Trans-gender Faculty, Staff, and Graduate Student Association, according to AgapePress.

A conservative black pastor and alumnus of MSU is condemning his alma mater's decision to provide a scholarship for "lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans-gender students of color."

Bishop Ira Combs, Jr., of Jackson, calls the scholarship "nonsense." According to Combs, the scholarship is just another attempt by homosexual organizations and other liberal groups to redefine American culture by eliminating moral boundaries.

"The only one that probably will be able to stop them in the end will be God, because they will not be stopped; they will always try to find other ways to push and promote their immoral agenda," Combs said, according to AgapePress. "It's unfortunate that the university has embraced this corrupt ideology and has not taken a stand for traditional values."

Combs added, "This is an attack by individuals who are secularist, humanist, socialist, communist and [who] embrace all of these particular philosophical doctrines to try to eradicate from within -- and we have to continue to fight to prevent them from doing this. And we shall and will do so. In the end, we shall prevail."

Combs says that the support for homosexual activism at MSU is nothing new to higher education. For years, he says, homosexual activists have been pooling their resources in order to proliferate their agenda on university campuses.

I'm going to establish a scholarship for White homeschooled Christians.

No wait, that would be a hate crime.

Haw 'bout a scholarship for straight white males?

After all, this group is quickly becoming the US' largest minority group.

Wow, you can get money based on your skin color and ability to pack fudge. If this weren't a university I'd think it was an episode of Adult Fear Factor on BET.

I'm not quite clear here--"homosexual activists have been pooling their resources"--if this scholarship is being endowed with private money or out of the university budget. I DO know that campus gay activists tend to be highly averse to using their OWN money to fund their "activities."

I'll bet my dollar to your dime that the Republican state committee will say nothing about this, and the Republican controlled legislature will do even less.

Taxpayer funded universities are corrupt, giving special recognition and taxpayer dollars to left wing annointed groups. The only groups that should receive special recognition and taxpayer dollars are people who do something productive, like veterans.

We need a referendum demanding that all scholarship money go to people who do something productive. End all scholarships based on group identity.

Usually, scholarship endowment money is given to the school by individuals or corporations/foundations, then the school manages the money in some sort of trust vehicle and offers the scholarship to a student. So, it starts off private, becomes managed by the school, and then the principle stays with the school while (some or all of) the interest is given out as a scholarship.

The mitten's Republican legislature will do nothing, you can be sure. At this year's state convention, however, the candidates running for college boards (what the hell are those called? brain fart) were getting a lot of attention and doing a great job of getting their names out to fellow conservatives. That's where the change must be made. We really need to stop letting the libs run our universities.

As long as you discriminate against straight whites, you're not discriminating.

In master Ben Shapiro's Brainwashed he proposes a parallel, completely privatized university system existing outside the decadent, taxpayer-subsidized, corrupt ivy-covered morass that higher education has become (no tenure, no sports teams, no cultural fiefdoms, etc.); "school choice" in other words. Also, a conservative-oriented ranking system and more watchdog bodies.

Be real still, and listen!

You'll be able to hear many of the young minds at MSU clicking from mush to being a conservative. This is in spite of what the radicals come up with.

Homosexual Agenda Ping - Super Duper Nausea + Tsunami of Sewage Alert.

And the worst thing is, if people think this is as bad it's going to get, they have their heads in the sand.

Combs is one of the good guys. If anyone knows a contact for him, I'd like to email him.

Let me know if anyone wants on/off this pinglist.

PS - Be very, very, very careful about your kids' and grandkids' "higher education. You want to be able to recognize them after their graduation.
