Maybe Cheney, unlike Sabato, realizes that the media hotshots who used to call the shots don't anymore. Cheney added a lot to the confidence in this ticket 4 years ago, when all we had to worry about that summer were shark attacks and where Chandra Levi was.... Since then, his steadying influence and intellectual acumen is even MORE appreciated... He doesn't pander to the media or the insiders, he is devoted to his job as Vice President, and IMHO, should be considered as one of the true American Heroes in the history books of the future.

So now Bush is to let the media chose his vice president?

They are trying to create pressure for a change - no!!!!!!

Bush and Cheney are a top notch team and I want them to stay together.
