To Junior's claim that his father "worked hard to impress upon his children the value of kindness," Buckley noted, "If he did, he was manifestly unsuccessful."
God bless Bill Buckley : )

Well, at least the angry and hateful former ballet dancer will fit right in at the Democrat convention. Like the Democratic Party itself, Ron Jr. is over 30 and still in teen rebellion mode. I'll keep the son of President Reagan in my prayers.

I wonder exactly when Ron discovered he had all this deep respect for his father's values. I don't recall him articulating anything remotely like it during his dad's political life.
I remember the precise opposite, in fact.
Friggen phony.

Thanks for posting this. I've been livid ever since he announced his plan to speak to the DNC. He's a freak, a whacko, mentally ill, bad dancer...........send him back to the dog shows.

Great men sometimes have unworthy children; Ron and Patty are examples. On the other hand, Michael Reagan, the adopted son, stands tall in his father's shoes.
To: kattracks
Reagan's son and Berg's father should get together. Mr. Berg could adopt the fatherless jackass and spend quality time together lying about Bush.

As I say, our dear President Reagan would not have approved. I am sure that he is taking a break from riding in the real Rancho del Cielo, and waving a cosmic finger at the boy.

I hope this rebuke silences the "ballerina", but I doubt it. I bet he's so mad he could spit.

Ron wants the world to know that he finds GW to be contemptible. He will demonstrate this to people who also found his father to be contemptible. His father would never have been invited to speak at the Democratic Convention, any more than would GW.
Every awful thing they say about GW, they also said about Reagan. And Ron, in many many ways over the years, has done what he could to distance himself from his father, who he transparently found to be an embarrassment.
GW is Reagan's real son. I don't know who Ron is.

We look for that fine day when we will see him again, all weariness gone, clear of mind, strong and sure and smiling again, and the sorrow of this parting gone forever. May God bless Ronald Reagan and the country he loved.
