If I recall, the charges against the husband for cunnilingus (i.e. sodomy) on his own wife were because she told her family what had happened - -a lot of confusion. Point is how "far" we've come in terms of sexual "sophistication"..
Why on earth would she tell her family? Hasn't cunnilingus been around as long as time?????
As the Good Book says "There's nothing new under the sun" -- but the point is that there have been sodomy laws on the books since the dawn of our nation -- and oral sex is legal sodomy.
In other words, you could be put in jail for oral sex in most states up until the last few decades. I'm talking heterosexual sodomy.
Polite Midwestern women in the 30's had no idea about oral sex, I'm sure. Don't you know why feminists like Germaine Greer and others were such a big deal in the sixties?
