>>President Bush will not fight. It will cost him the election in my view.

At this point I'm afraid I must agree with you. I have the tv on 24 hrs and I almost NEVER hear a Bush commercial. CNN runs Kerry commercials very frequently and they report the news rather like this: "John Kerry campaigned in x today and said (at least 2 Kerry talking points against Bush). Meanwhile George Bush campaigned in y today---period." Every scrap of political and world news is presented with a comment from the left, criticizing the Bush administration. It's presented as news when the President doesn't do something like speak before the NAACP---"first president since Hoover to refuse." The major news outlets have abandoned any pretense of balance.

I listen in vain for any response from the Republicans. They're not fighting back, and the Dems are fighting dirty. As of now, it appears obvious that George Bush is going down in flames.

A lot depends on where you live. Here in Texas, we don't see many commercials for either candidate: Bush has this state in his hip pocket, so deep Kerry can't hope to snatch it.

However, we were in Washington State recently, where we saw oodles of campaign ads for both candidates. Most of them I'd only seen on-line, if at all.

It may appear that way to you, to me it appears we finally are going on the offensive. We finally are regaining the offensive.

I have a question for all that believe Bush is campaigning for defeat. IF he wins, especially if it is by a margin that is greater than 2000, will these statements be retracted about the strategy in effect? Will the statements that the American people are "sheeple" be retracted?

Watch FNC. I have seen the new BC04 commercial almost once an hour today. It is the one that says "Senator Kerry has his priorities. Are They Yours?"

The HATEBUSHFEST was last night. Mehlman was out early this am w/a rebuttal & a demand that the tape be made public.

Cheney took on Leahy. W snapped back that Cheney could be President. W took on the press last week or the week before on the *European Allies* bit and said straight out:"You mean France" and went on to say that France didn't believe in saying what they meant or backing what had to be done (paraphrase).

How can you help:
Boycott all media except FNC, CSPAN and the various conservative net outlets until the election....and maybe beyond, since they are going to continue this.

Fire back yourself as each show has email response on FNC. Call on CSPAN. If you have to watch CNN or MSNBC, don't expect them to put our responses on their air. Same w/NPR.

Do not buy CDs, DVDs,books, magazines, PPV or rent movies from the BushBasher crowd. There is plenty of media from patriotic Americans. Let every outlet that purveys this cr@p know you are boycotting them and why.

Email every Kerry gaffe to everyone you know. Email every truthful report to the same people. Help arm our side. You won't change minds on the other side, so provide ammo to those on our side. Propagate the web commercials that are everywhere against the left and pro-Bush. Go to the campaign site and the RNC FLOG and email out the truth every time the other side bashes us.

Write letters to the editor
Educate
Volunteer
Donate
Repeat

In public, when confronted w/the HATEBUSH talking points, disagree in public. Stand your ground. Answer them, every time.

If you can, join the protest warriors when they are in your area. They have a website. You can join.

The campaign has been fighting back in rapid response mode for 6 weeks. If you aren't aware of it, you aren't listening. Go to the campaign web site, where the TV ads are available about 12 hrs before they hit the TV.

Bush is not going to lose. The polls have been up in our favor for almost 2 weeks. The Johns got no bump. America is not stupid, not suicidal, and not asleep. The POTUS is not a wimp and neither is Big Time.

Hey, come on, it's not that bad. Sure I wish Bush was up by 20 points right now, but Kerry's momentum was stopped weeks ago. We just need to keep him on his heels, explaining dumb statement after dumb statement. Then the GOP convention and debates will be the knockout blows.

Nope. Dubya' is a fighter. I remember everyone saying the same thing in the 2000 primaries with McCain after New Hampshire. "He doesn't look like he really wants it", the media chided, obviously hinting he was just running to live out his father's dreams (had him confused with a Kennedy), then the Governor started hitting back (of course when he proved he "wanted it", he was accused of "dirty tricks"). Mark my words: backed in a corner, this President will come out swingin'.
