Yeah, That’s the Ticket: Kerry-Edwards More Liberal Than Mondale-Ferraro

Something to Yak About – Yeah, That’s the Ticket: Kerry-Edwards More Liberal Than Mondale-Ferraro
With his selection of John Edwards as his running mate, John Kerry has managed to construct a Democrat ticket that’s even more liberal than… (drum roll, please…) Walter Mondale and Geraldine Ferraro! That’s right, folks, the Kerry-Edwards ticket has amassed a documented record of liberalism that exceeds even that of the utterly failed Mondale-Ferraro ticket of 20 years ago, according to the Lefties at Americans for Democratic Action. Hard to believe, but the numbers don’t lie.

It’s The Record, Stupid!
Just when we thought John Kerry – the most liberal member of the 2003 Senate – couldn’t get any further out of the mainstream, BAM! He picks John Edwards, the 4th most-liberal member of the 2003 Senate. Check it out – these two guys both voted against the child tax credit, voted against marriage penalty relief, voted against the $87 billion for our troops overseas, voted against banning partial birth abortion – the list goes on.

When Political Expediency Goes Outside The Mainstream
John Kerry said he would pick a running mate with a proven track record of leadership who could assume the presidency if need be. So where does John Edwards fit in to Kerry’s VP equation? We can’t find it either, save for the fact that Edwards apparently fits the unspoken criteria of being a dedicated liberal who will back Kerry and his out-of-the-mainstream agenda.

Do Your Part
With John Kerry and John Edwards trotting about the country rolling out their new and improved product, why not do your civic duty to help introduce the Dem ticket to your radio peeps? Dial up the Republican National Committee Radio Services shop at 202-863-8614. It’s The Yak’s privilege to assist.

Talkers Profile – Pat Miller, WOWO/Ft. Wayne, Indiana
"Until three years ago, I had never even been in a radio studio. I approach things less like a radio professional...and more like a radio listener. I'm just like the person who's out there listening in their car, or tuning at the office…. Pat Miller fills in for Charly Butcher and Pat White exclusively on Newstalk 1190 WOWO.” (SOURCE: WOWO)

The Final Yak
“John Kerry was against John Edwards before he was for him. But now he’s his running mate. Who is John Edwards? A disingenuous, unaccomplished liberal and friend to personal injury trial lawyers.” (SOURCE: RNC Statement, July 6, 2004)

Seeing these commies hold infants and babies really makes my stomach turn. Kerry: "Hey sweetie, 9 months ago I would have had your brain sucked up through a straw".

Kerry-Edwards More Liberal Than Mondale-Ferraro

The sad thing is, if this was 20 years ago we'd be looking at a landslide election instead of what's looking to be a dangerously close horse race.

I miss Mondale.

He was an honest, friendly, and non-corrupt far left idealog. I like those kinds much better then the corrupt, lying type.
