CLEVELAND (Reuters) - Democrats John Kerry and John Edwards appeared together on the campaign trail for the first time on Wednesday and declared themselves advocates for ordinary Americans squeezed by President Bush's economic policies.

In front of a huge banner proclaiming "Kerry and Edwards: A New Team for a New America," the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee told thousands of supporters that he and his newly minted running mate were America's "dream ticket."

"We've got better vision, better ideas, real plans, we've got a better sense of what's happening to America and we've got better hair," Kerry said, a reference to the well-coiffed Democratic team.

Does Kerry really think one-liners like that will win votes except from viewers of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy?

I just heard him say that on Fox. I hope it pisses all bad hair people off. Honestly, how shallow is that? "We've got better hair?" Oh wait, I forgot that the dims are more into the superficial and less into substance.

Hopefully Kerry will keep talking. The more he talks the lower the poll numbers will be.

Did he really say that?

Better hair? He chose to talk about their hair and failed to take the opportunity to talk about... oh, I don't know... National Security?

Will this even cross the mind of the dimocrats?

John Kerry speaking makes Al Gore look positively animated. You know, I would think a lot of people would be turned off by Edwards "pretty boy" good looks.

Queer Eyes would be the first to say their hair is not "fab" and needs some highlights and coloring.

If Breck wasn't so naive, he would feel like a whore being used for his looks and southern charm in a quest for power...

"we've got a better sense of what's happening to America and we've got better hair,"

They just lost the bad hair/bald vote.

How corny of a statement, especially in the same sentence about whats happening to America.

Which by the way is Terrorists killing our citizens and the left siding with them for political advantage.
