I told you, Mabel. Buying this house at the end of the runway was a bad idea. But no...you had to have it. One of these days....

You got that right. Most people can't even drive safely, much less fly. I always thought that idea was stupid.

All those news Choppers are creating a lot of noise where I am, and I am a decent distance away from them.

Local Foxnews said people in the area reported one woman taken to the Hospital with some Facial injuries possible, was conscious and coherent in the gurney. Plane was likely heading into Long Beach airport, other airport is Military, Los Alamitos Training center I think they now call it.
Actually we have:
Los Alamitos Army Airfield

Its located in College Park Estates, about one mile south of California State University, Long Beach, on the south side of the San Gabriel river channel. Actually, the location cannot be both south of CSULB and south of the SGR Channel.
The map you posted is actually the square immediately east of College Park estates, which is across the street from the college and west of the river.

I am not sure if that is really Seal Beach either, I would believe it is more likely in Los Alamitos.
i know the news media is calling it Seal Beach, but I didn't know there was any portion of Seal Beach up there.

Crashes into single homes by small airplanes are usually the result of an ugly divorce.

Here is another map. There are two neighborhoods, which is east of the college and is in Seal Beach. This area is known as College Park Estates (Harvard Lane, Yale lane, Edison park). There is also one south of the college, which is in LB. I am not sure the name of that tract (Peralta ave.). It is known locally as 'the hole' because it is located below the hill and cannot be seen from 7th st.
Not sure if this will work as the map changes image as I edit this comment. But if the crash is in College Park estates, irt is east of the college and the river and is in Seal Beach.

Sorry guys, I am not sure why the map shifts from the view after I post it. The map posted is just north of what I was trying to show. But I think you have the idea.

You want to know something funny, apparently that link posts the last map the viewer has looked at. Your post has the map of Whitehall Montana that I was viewing earlier this morning.
