Before his memoir "My Life" was released last month, ex-President Clinton announced that he wasn't interested in settling any scores with his old enemies.

That will come as news to Washington Times editor Wes Pruden, top talk radio host Rush Limbaugh and Fox News Channel chief Roger Ailes, each of whom are skewered in Clinton's book.

continued

In quotes extracted from the 957 page tome by the Washington Post's Howard Kurtz, Clinton blasts all three as wild-eyed right wingers who targeted him for his goodness.

Pruden used to refer to the happy couple as Bonnie and Clod.

It fits.

ex-President Clinton

I wish NewsMax and the rest of the media would start referring to him as what he really is -- the impeached former president.

Funny how they all 'ignore' his role in Iran-Contra-Mena..... Clinton as Attorney General (the top Arkansas cop)..... and Clinton (Gov. of Arkansas)

& The trail of bodies from Mena to the White House...

If you can stand to watch, Bill Clinton will be on the Diane Rehm show. It will be simulcast on C-SPAN. I'm curious on his Edwards take. Looking for truth through his lying body language.

Thanks for the heads up, but I don't have a strong stomach. I will have to pass. Nevertheless, please keep us informed of his reaction, since Hillary must know that a Kerry/Edwards win will be detrimental to her presidential ambitions.

Pruden, suggests Clinton, is a racist, because "his father had been chaplain of the White Citizens' Council in Arkansas and an ally of Justice Jim Johnson's in their lost crusade against civil rights for blacks."

Does this make his Veep choice racist as well? Al Gore's father opposed the Civil Rights Act. Why would Clinton pick such a divisive figure as a running mate

And why didn't Clinton use his influence as governor to cut the Confederate flag from Arkansas' flag? Didn't he appreciate how offensive that is to some folks? :/

Bill Clinton is one of the most pathologically sick public figures in the world today.

Diane Rehm: Will you be campaigning for Kerry/Edwards?

Clinton: Hillary and I will both be doing what ever we are asked to do.

He is doing a reading now. I can't take any more.

Clinton is proving the wisdom I learned in the Navy is gender neutral.

It's easier getting in than out. Alternate wording, It's harder to get rid of a skank than to get with one.

There is also the closely related wisdom, never date a chick you meat at a stoplight.

Thanks for the update, LP.

I hope that Edwards gets into the habit of double-checking his airplane before taking off.

I went back. He is blaming the Reagan Administration for supporting Saddam while Saddam was using WMD. Then he says a lot of people were angry with GHWB for not staying the course after the first Gulf War. Haven't heard him take any responsiblity. Not holding my breath.

Presidents...politicians...with secure, positive career legacies don't have to care what the press says about them. Reagan never worried. Clinton clearly does.
