Sudan: The Bush Administration called on all parties to the conflict in Darfur to adhere to the ceasefire, to respect the rights of civilians, to allow the free movement of humanitarian workers and relief supplies, and to work in good faith toward a negotiated settlement. There are more W photos to come, but I couldn't resist putting this up now -- with the official White House Barney Web Page caption. "Shrouded in secrecy for months, the culprit responsible for the mysterious "South Lawn Doughnuts" is finally revealed."

I wonder if Bremer heard a W-version of, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."

I got the impression from the photos / captions that Bremer was famous for wearing those desert boots in Iraq, with his nice suits. Must have been a practicality issue with a double message. I like it.

"President Bush walks with his arm around Former US administrator in Iraq L. Paul Bremer III, left, as they walked to a meeting on the White House grounds, Wednesday, June 30, 2004. Bremer is enjoying his second full day in the United States after handing over sovereignty to an interim Iraqi government."
