Not when the media repeats Kerry's criticism and omits or is opaque as to the origin of the Hitler clips. The public usually only reads the headline or first paragraph of "news" stories.

Yep. The way the images were interlaced with the frenzied democrats, one could get the idea that it was President Bush's campaign that was making the Nazi comparisons instead of showing what the left was doing. We here know immediately what is going on, but there are a lot of others who don't keep up with politics and will think poorly of the Bush administration when the media and Kerry's campaign lies to them about it. (BTW, I guess I could have just said Kerry's campaign since the media is a part...)
The Bush campaign should have gone out of their way to make it known that these were images from ads put out by democrat faithful, and were used to refer to President Bush.
