If I recall Moore talked about doing a hit job on Tony Blair but quickly reversed himself.
I suspect his attorney informed him that British Law has much more stringent liable laws.
I doubt Moore would want to tangle with Blair's chief master of spin, Peter Mandelson. Mandelson is referred to by people in his own party as "The Prince of Darkness", for a reason. Mandelson himself has been caught up in scandals, but dealing with a Moore hatchet job is right up his street.
