MONICA CLOSES BOOK ON BUBBA

MONICA Lewinsky — in Little Rock, Ark., for a wedding this past weekend — was invited to tour the Clinton Presidential Library. But she declined.

The former White House intern — a bridesmaid of Ashley Linus Raines, her best friend from their days in the West Wing during the Bill Clinton administration — was overheard at the reception laughing with other guests about a phone call a member of the wedding party received.

Sources say the caller was one of the directors of the Clinton Presidential Library offering out-of-town guests an exclusive peek at the unfinished shrine to the ex-president. And the Clintonite specifically asked "if Monica would be joining them."

[snip]

Meanwhile, Lewinsky is said to have spent all profits from "Monica's Story," her 1999 memoir. (There wasn't much left over after paying her legal bills.) And her handbag-designing firm is nearly out of business, sources say. "She's one of the only people who didn't make any money out of this situation," Hutson said. "She's suffered the most out of everyone."

Maybe she will get her revenge on the Clintons by stealing Chelsea's boyfriend. They are around the same age...

Ashley Raines - daughter of Arkansas businesswoman Linus Raines, an old Clinton pal - has told independent counsel Kenneth Starr that Lewinsky also told her she was having an affair with the president. The White House has dismissed the report as "misinformation," but Ashley Raines so far hasn't issued her own denial.

Circumstantial evidence suggests that Ashley Raines and Lewinsky are good friends. On the two days in December and January that Lewinsky flew to New York for job interviews with Revlon - courtesy of job-finder extraordinaire and Clinton pal Vernon Jordan - she phoned Ashley Raines from the airplane, calling Raines' direct line in the White House.

According to credit-card reports Lewinsky also phoned her own voice-mail number, as well as Currie, on both trips.

Ashley Raines began her White House career in the summer of 1993 as an intern in the Office of Management and Administration under David Watkins' supervision. She later assisted then-White House special-hearings counsel Matthew Moore, a figure in the Travelgate investigation, who mentioned Ashley Raines in a 1995 deposition given to the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee.

Ironically, Linus Raines is the general manager of Little Rock's Excelsior Hotel - the now-notorious venue for the alleged Clinton encounter with Paula Corbin Jones. Along with Hillary Rodham Clinton, Linus Raines was named in 1991 by a state business magazine as one of Arkansas' most influential women leaders. She has had numerous contacts with the Clintons in the years leading up to and since their move to the White House. Included was Linus Raines' attendance at a summer 1995 Clinton-Gore fund-raiser held at the Excelsior, which raised $1 million to boost the president's then-uncertain reelection effort.

And a year prior, Linus Raines was invited to attend a White House state dinner in honor of the emperor of Japan. The guest list also included Masahiko Kasuga, the current owner of the Excelsior, whose father, Tokio, once was named by then-Gov. Clinton as Arkansas' "ambassador for tourism." Linus Raines herself was named to the president's 1995 White House Conference on Travel and Tourism.

Moanica was under Clinton's desk in seconds b/c he told her he needed to get serviced before considering getting her a better govt job.

An art work of Moanica's mouth----maybe guache pressed on glass--- should also have been hung in the Liebrary. After all it commemorates one of his most memorable legacies.

Of course, slutsky Lewinsky still doesn't "get it" that her mouth is the reason fo her fame.

What is really disgraceful are the republicans who voted not to impeach this criminal! What was really disgraceful was Hillary covering up for and excusing this Clown that she married, for her own selfish gain.
What is really disgraceful are the News media fools and the Hollywood Stooges who continue to support the former Clown president.
But, then again birds of a feather still flock together.

"The ex-prez also revealed that the "worst thing" about being a civilian again was "walking into a room and not having a song played."

No, Billy, the worst thing is having 3,000 fellow citizens incinerated because of your failures. Additionally, Clinton was never anything but a civilian. Private citizen again, perhaps, but at no time in the same category as police, firefighter, or military.

Semper Fi,

She realized she could never be a lawyer when she correctly defined is.

Meanwhile, she drifts. Like a hollow log. Collecting the discarded debris of others. While she slowly edges toward the shallow pool of all the others whose 15 minutes were foolishly wasted. And that's where she will remain.
She could have changed her course. I don't pity her at all.

Do you think the story is true? I've got to think that any Clinton employee who invited Monica to tour the library would be looking for another job. On the other hand, maybe the library is so desperate for publicity (to boost funding) that they actually would do this? Then back to the other hand (or foot, at this point), is having Monica there really a good fund raising move? I wondered about the accuracy of this story, and resolved it in my own mind by remembering that Clinton's supporters will do anything... nothing surprises me anymore, so entirely possible this is true.

bring it into the homes of millions of children during their viewing hours

I'll never forget when my cherubic-faced Kindergartner said, "Mommy, what are presidential kneepads?"

After I regained my breath, I stuttered something about "maybe the President was installing new vinyl flooring and wore kneepads to protect his knees. You know, like Daddy did when he put down the new vinyl in the kitchen."

Can you imagine Clinton laying vinyl? LOL. Hey, it was the best I could come up with.

Monica complains that she cannot get dates with men, so she's switched to women.

"She's (Monica) suffered the most out of everyone."

Not correct.

It is America who suffered the most.

All-in-all, Clinton should do something honorable to give Monica Lewinsky back the honor he stole.

Don't hold your breath on that one!

"She's suffered the most out of everyone."

Let me wipe away the crocodile tears. sheesh, poor Monica should have thought about the consequences of befriending such a low life as Klintoon.

Her legacy and his are the same, a new word.....Lewinsky(verb): BJ
