Dereliction of Duty was so disturbing to read I had to put it down several times to get over my upset.

Keep in mind that nothing bad that ever happened was klinton's fault. It was always someone else's fault.

The fathers were invited to the White House and it's doubtful any expected to hear that their sons' deaths were their own fault.

Be interesting to see what the ratings are...I'd suspect that Gossein and Mickelson took away about 85% ofnthe potential audience..and after the Open finish..most folks got up from the tube rather than switch to Bubba...

BTW..there was a story about a BBC interview that airs tomorros where Clinton supposedly got pissed at the question about Monica..will be be aired in the USA?

There have been no breathless accounts of the media ratings for the interview. Guess they need more time to fudge the numbers.

I missed the event, but cleaning the vents in my iron was a good enough substitute.

Yep, The U.S. Open was more important to this country than an interview by Dan, I love Fidel Castro, Rather of Slick Willie.lintoon, still a disgusting liar after all these years. He needs an exit strategy.

Thanks for the ping, Howlin. I spent eight years diligently avoiding the sight and sound of Bill Clinton on my TV. I intend to spend the rest of my life doing exactly the same thing. There is nothing he can say that would interest me in the slightest. However, I must give "credit" where "credit" is due. Bill Clinton is not the worst president of my lifetime. That distinction is reserved for Jimmy Carter.

All he had to say was their sons fought valiantly for a very worthy cause and that our country is so very proud of them and so grateful for their honorable service. He didn't have to accept blame. He just had to show some humanity. I feel so bad for the Rangers' families. They did not deserve that.

To hear Kerry, life ws just perfect under X42. In reality all those who served in the armed forces during his tenure suffered in a million ways.

That insult to the Rangers' fathers had to add terrible hurt to their loss.

Hello OldFriend,

I find it so amazing that the soldiers that I am communicating with are so upbeat. I never hear a complaint. You know the conditions are really poor. You know they miss their families. They may even have family problems. But you NEVER hear a complaint. It is so extraordinary.

How did the service men suffer during x42? I would like to know so that it is NOT repeated again.

Most people do not realize that every time a president travels abroad the Pentagon is tasked with the trip. Every dime spent comes out of the Pentagon budget. Every plane, cargo transport, etc. comes from the Pentagon.

There was a time when so much had been commandeered by the clintonistas that a military unit was stranded because there were no planes to bring them home.

Clinton never coordinated with the Pentagon, he made his demands and they were to be met.

Inconvenience or danger to the troops was NEVER a consideration.

Needless to say,the cost was irrelevant to the Clinton administration.
