Gee, that was a quick I.D. Pardon me if I'm a little skeptical over all this crap.
I agree. They probably chose a few of their lowly subjects for slaughter.
You bet. The House of Saud is not to be trusted.
Yes... considering the last we heard about the Saudis before Johnson's beheading was announced was that they were searching the Saudi desert for "clues". Ohhh KAY!
Gee, that was a quick I.D. Pardon me if I'm a little skeptical over all this crap.
I'm with you! Something doesn't jive with this story! Something stinks!
Why were they able to identify him AFTER the beheading? Why weren't they able to do so BEFORE so Johnson's life could be saved? SICKENING!
So what is your skeptical view about? Do you doubt that Johnson was beheaded? Do you doubt that it was done by AL Qaeda? Do you doubt that large portions of the SA area are pro Bin Laden? Or are you suggesting that the government "allowed" this to happen? Are you one of those who think that Nick Berg was actually killed by CIA or some other US agency to boost Bush's polls? Or are you one who questions the House of Saud's efforts to rid itself o these loonatics? Just wondering
That was exactly my reaction. According to a late news report I caught on local news radio here in L.A., the perpetrators were caught in the act of dumping the body. Hmmmm...
Call me skeptical too. They could flash the picture of any old Abu al Aziz on the screen and say they were the perpetrator and say they killed him. I don't believe it. What are we supposed to think now--case closed, move along nothing to see here.
"Pardon me if I'm a little skeptical over all this crap."
My computer was down when I heard this, but I wondered how many posts there would be before scepticism, with which I agree when it comes to the Saudis, popped up. Just 10.
"Pardon me if I'm a little skeptical over all this crap."
I think I'll postpone my celebration for a while too.
It is curious that they found him so fast. But here's one scenario that might have worked: continuous overhead photography. Suppose they had a large area under surveillance, but couldn't pin down the exact location in advance. Once the body was found, they could track the photos backwards from that time to observe who and what left that area, then go forward again with the photos to get more info on those leaving the site of the murder. It doesn't seem too far-fetched to me, and I think the timing would be about right,
That's what I thought when FOX began announcing it.
Way too convenient.
My own speculation is that the Saudis knew where this guy was all along. Shortly after Johnson was killed, Bush was on the horn to Crown Prince Abdullah, and probably told him he better have the guy dead by midnight, or there would be hell to pay.
Remember: they all look alike. :)
I agree. Where's the video?????
