BANGKOK, May 29 (AFP) - Assailants decapitated an elderly Buddhist in Thailand's Muslim south Saturday and vowed more such killings if Muslims continued to be arrested for the months-long unrest in the region, police said.
It was the first decapitation in the violence, which has claimed some 190 lives since January, police said.
Sieng Patkaoe, 63, was attacked by men with machetes early Saturday as he tapped rubber trees on his plantation in the southern province of Narathiwat, district police said.
Sieng's severed head was left along a village road. His body, found some 60 metres (yards) away, had a note pinned to it threatening more killings, police said.
"If innocent Malayu (the predominant ethnic group in the Muslim south) continue to be arrested, we will murder more Buddhists," police quoted the note as saying. It was written in Thai and printed by computer, they said.
The victim had no conflict with neighbours, police said.
The killing marks a new level of brutality in the violence, mainly blamed on Muslim separatists, that has plagued southern Thailand this year.
The followers of Islam have provent it to be nothing more than a violent cult.
The time has come to eradicate the threat to the rest of the peace loving world.
BALTIMORE, Maryland (AP) -- Two young men were arrested on murder charges Friday in the gruesome slayings of three younger relatives in an apartment. One was beheaded with a butcher knife, the others were nearly decapitated, police said.
Police said the two men are cousins, but the Mexican government identified Policarpio Espinoza, 22, as the children's uncle and Adan Espinoza Canela, 17, as their cousin.
Investigators said they did not know the motive for the killings, and they did not disclose how they connected the suspects to the crime.
The children were identified by the principal at their school as 9-year-old Ricardo Espinoza; his 9-year-old sister, Lucero Quezada; and their 10-year-old cousin Alexis Quezada, a boy.
The bodies were found in two bedrooms of the first-floor apartment. Police found a butcher knife near the apartment and said they believe it was used in the killings.

A relative said the family was originally from Mexico and moved from New York to Baltimore about three years ago. The relative said the family owns a food business.
The Mexican government's Foreign Relations Department said the children's parents -- Ricardo Espinoza, Mimi Quezada and Maria Andrea Espejo -- were undocumented immigrants. It wasn't known who the parents were of each child. The children were born in Mexico.

You're absolutely right. The battle cry is "DEATH TO THE INFIDELS!", infidels being anyone who isn't Muslim. It seems to be getting worse all the time.
I agree with you in every particular except that it's not a "holy" war no matter what the Islamofreaks call it. It's a savage, barbaric, mindless, UNHOLY war.

This is even worse than it sounds. Many people in Thailand become monks not out of religeous duty but because they're destitute and it's a good way to earn a meal and a safe place to sleep each day.
Actually, General 'Blackjack' Pershing knew how to deal with Muslims: during the occupation of the Phillipines in the early 20th century, he had over 100 Muslim terrorists executed and buried in pigskin. The Phillipines had no problem with Muslims until the recent outbreak.
