The more information the better, so far as I am concerned.
After awhile it will pile up sufficiently to require re-evaluation of a lot of what has been supposed in the past.
There are a lot of books coming out about ancient civilizations and probably most of it is righteous speculation based on a few recent finds. We probably have no idea exactly what was going on way back when or who was doing what since we have found little but ruins and no instruction manuals, but there were major civilization things happening worldwide during the Ice Age.
