Uh oh.
To put it mildly (if the story's true).

Was he even sick?
Someone posted that on FR earlier this morning. Mods pulled it since no further data was available.
None of the normal news sources are saying anything.
from DEBKA:
"Mubarak appears on Egyptian TV Wednesday night refuting persistent rumors of his death circulating several hours. He is seen talking to defense minister Tantawi, also reported to have conversed with visiting US CIA chief Tenet in Cairo."
Reportedly he met with Tenet today (that is Wednesday in Egypt).. I doubt this is true..
Oh boy, that would be serious. I know he has been grooming his son and I've heard his son is very intelligent and capable, but with the Islamist problem there in Egypt he's going to have to be very, very strong.....if this is true.
This is not NEWS.
This is a r-u-m-o-r.

"We want to train commanders to keep security," said Mubarak, showing no apparent signs of illness.
Television also reported Mubarak had talked with Tenet, Egyptian Information Minister Safwat el-Sherif and Defense Minister Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, but gave little detail...."
