I remember back when Clinton was office-shopping in New York, and had initially settled on some 57th-Street address that was going to cost the taxpayers a bazillion dollars a year. One article quoted someone who said that the asking proce was so hefty because it was on a high floor with a view, and that "if Clinton were only to drop down eight or ten floors, there would be a significant financial savings" or words to that effect.
I posted that the idea of Clinton dropping down eight to ten floors was very appealing to me. Somebody should turn me in. Heaven knows what I might say, if I ever get another straight line that good.
