"Betcha she doesn't even know about the ACLU's support of NAMBLA."

You mean you bet she doesn't CARE that the ACLU supports NAMBLA.

So based on this picture I am to assume that they will be changing their name to The Dixie Pigs! Is this loudmouthed idiot the fat pig in the middle? If so my advice is to keep your mouth shut, that way stupid comments stay in and food stays out!

She may BE a member of nambla (lower case deliberate).

LEts see....I'm supposed to listen to a chubby chick with a flair for country ballads, that dropped out of the tenth grade...about her view of the ACLU?

Riiiiight.

The simple fact is the Dixie Chicks careers in CW is over. They will undoubtedly produce a couple of more albums....but they will never again have the acclaim, or audience they did prior to that infamous concert in London, or their non apology apology.

And the "group" Natalie Maines wants oh so desperately to be accepted by will eventually return to scoffing at her as an uneducated trailerpark queen that somehow escaped working in greasy spoons in Texas.

Seen it before, will undoubtedly see it again in my lifetime.

Could anyone out there install a pig's snout on this? Did she ever play the part of Miss Piggy?

I'm a huge music lover. I dumped everything Dixie Chick when she was bashing Toby. Never looked back, never missed them.

This from the local Nashville paper:

Boo birds still come out for the Chicks

CMT unveils its six-hour 100 Greatest Love Songs special at 3 this afternoon.

If you just want to catch the top 12 songs, as performed by some of your favorite singers Tuesday night at Gaylord Entertainment Center, tune in around 7 p.m.

What you might not catch was some audience reaction from more than 9,000 country fans at the GEC.

Producers played clips of all 100 songs, and when No. 67, Cowboy Take Me Away, by the Dixie Chicks, played, the boo birds came out. I'd guess about one-third of the crowd, still miffed about the Chicks' President Bush-bashing statement last year in London, booed loudly.

On the flip side, the loudest off-camera cheers came when Brad Paisley, having problems with his ear pack, turned around, giving the crowd a look at his tush in some tight jeans.

They are a silly uneducated bunch anyway. Entertainers shouldn't be taking political voices, they don't know anything about anything.

Obviously trying to cash in on her notoriety...Perhaps it's time for the Dixie Chicks to go back to their original premise of a revolving cast of performers, a la Menudo.

I couldn't stand Country Western Music til it began to change a decade or so ago. (What do you get when you play a CW record backwards? Your house, your wife, your dog, your kids, your farm, your truck......) I just don't appreciate the "cry in your beer" stuff.

I liked the DC's music, just as I like Toby Keith and the rest of the new breed.

But if you were going to pick the single most Pro America audience on the planet, its the CW crowd, hands down.

They will never, ever, forgive Fat Nat. And as I noted previously, the crowd Fat Nat wants so desperately to be a part of will turn on her the moment the election is over, and she puts out two dud records in a row (next year should bring us the first dud).

Yep! Some people just need the adorlation that only Hollywood and the liberal circles can provide. The more outrageous they become, the more love they feel from these people. I've always thought this is what drove Arianna Huffington over to the dark side...being the little social (butter) fly that she was. It is their own insecurity that is really showing.
