New Moore Project
The next victim is Blair
U.S. filmmaker Michael Moore had just investigated the connections of the Bush family to influential Saudis in his film "Fahrenheit 9/11". Now, because of his role in the Iraq war, it's supposed to be British premier Tony Blair's turn.
Los Angeles - "From my point of view Blair has more responsibility for this war in Iraq than George W. Bush", justified Michael Moore his latest project yesterday. "Because Blair knows better. Blair isn't an idiot." He just couldn't understand how Blair allowed himself to go in "with this guy"- meaning U.S. president George W. Bush -. stated the heavy-weight bad boy of the U.S. movie scene.
It had been difficult to leave Blair out of his latest film about Bush and the Iraq war,"Fahrenheit 9/11", Moore said. He had to concentrate on specific aspects at first. Now, though, Blair, as well, shall be taken to task in the typical polemical and aggressive style of Moore's films.
"Fahrenheit 9/11 " deals with alleged connections between Bush and influential Saudi arabs, among them the family of Al-Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden, and forms the thesis that Bush had driven the USA into the Iraq war through a mixture of panic mongering and disinformation. Bushs' supporters describe the film as polemics.
For his film, meanwhile, Moore has been honored with the coveted and prestigious Golden Palm in Cannes. Moore had already won an Oscar in 2002 for his documentary "Bowling for Columbine", about weapons in the USA. He has spoken out openly against the re-election of Bush in November, however, he hasn't come out in support of challenger John Kerry yet.

I just saw a cartoon called "Family Guy" the other night on some cable station. I don't know the name of the character, but he was the father in this dysfunctional family - and he looked exactly like Michael Moore.
Does anyone know if the real buffoon, Moore, was the physical model for the cartoon buffoon, "Family Guy?"
"Who's the bigger fool? The fool, or the fool who follows him?"
Actually, no . . . the big, bigger, and biggest fool is Mikey himself.
By the way, Mikey: UN inspectors: Saddam shipped out WMD before war and after
Nah, Moore makes Peter Griffin look like a genius.
Funny. You got my day started with a big laugh.
OBTW, when is anyone doing an expose on Moore? He seems ripe for the picking.
The tub or lard is taking up space (lots) on this earth and wasting precious oxygen.
Why doen't he make a movie about his favorite subject, greasy foods.
I think the CEO of Bally's needs to make a documentary about lard asses who don't work out and eat greasy fast food yet think they are superior to conservatives.
What's with this guy? DOesn't he have anything better to do with his time?
It's a disgrace that someone who attacks good and digs in the dirt is named for the Prince of Archangels.
I just laid a poop to rest. I named him Michael Moore.
I have a cousin who used to work with Moore in Flint Mi. He says that Moore was the kind of guy who would take a day off work, yet still show up and steal lunches out of the breakroom.
It would seem the British people will get in first.
It's sad. I know people who would do the same thing.
I hope Moore does go after Blair. The UK has libel laws with teeth; Blair can and will sue him for every ill-gotten cent he has.
He has already opened his mouth too many times to be revelant or thought of as significant.
Agree. BTW, how did a fifth-rate individual such as Moore attain such "status" here in the good 'ole USA? That speaks volumes about certain segments of our "culture", doesn't it.
As do I!
Hope some of our British FREEPERS jump in here, would love to hear what they think about Moore Trashing PM Blair. Of course Moore's ego is such that he'd do a trash job on the Queen as well.
