For old times sake, and to remind ourselves how lucky we were to have this great man as our President, click HERE and then click on the icon w/ Ronald Reagan standing behind a flag. While you're there you can also see the "Morning In America" Ad.
Loved that ad
Bump
GWB should steal the Morning in America messaage.
Thanks for the reminder.
Note: Just came from Burger King and noticed that the flag was at full staff. When I asked why they said "Oh, that's a
Federal thing, we don't have to do it". I threw my food on the driveway.
bttt
Cool, a trip back into time.
Does anybody have the "Peace through Strength" series by the Committee for the Preservation of a Strong Defense(??)
Would love to see some of those

You're more right than you know. If I remember right, the add went something like this:
"It's morning in America, today more americans are going to than at any other time in our nations history, with low interest rates, and low inflation, more people are buying homes than ever"
The *exact* same thing can be truthfully said about the American economy today, including the fact that more Americans are working today than at any other time in our nations history.
Well, you should go out and clean up your driveway, then, or you'll get critters and varmints.
What? Oh, THEIR driveway. Nevermind.
Did you call or email their corporate headquarters with the location of the offending restaurant and the name of the manager who responded so brusquely? I cannot imagine that they wouldn't be interested.
If there is a bear....
LOL!
I had trouble with a McDonald's in Alpharetta, GA on Monday, but they finally lowered it on Tuesday.
The "Bear in the Woods" and "Morning in America" ads should be studied intensely by the Bush campaign. They were more than just good use of imagery. Both educated voters about more than Reagan's positions - it taught them something about his perspective. That made them feel comfortable with him as their leader, even if they didn't agree entirely on specific policies.
What a flashback to my childhood, too!
