In her book, "Feminist Fantasies," author Phyllis Schlafly has this to say:
"Has our nation sunk so low that we are willing to send our daughers into battle? Is chivalry completely dead? Breathes there a man with soul so dead that he will not rise up and defend his wife, his sweetheart, his mother, or his daughter, against those who want to wound or capture them, whoever they may be?
The very idea of ordering women into combat jobs would send a message to the world that we have reduced the strength of our troops to the physical strength of the average female. It would be a sign of weakness because it would tell the world we do not have enough men willing to defend America."
Good passage!
