Reagan did more for black people than any president since Lincoln. But I guess because he didn't stand around with a big sack of government goodies, but chose instead to create an economic climate where blacks could finally move into the middle class through their a combination of political freedom and their own honest exertions he has to be demonized by the black establishment.
