In case you can't wait for the CBS show, here are a few from our good friends as DU:

Reagan got rid of the Fairness Doctrine, which let people like Rush Limbaugh become millionaires by spreading RW hatred and propaganda throughout the land.

Anybody remember that?

Anybody going to mention that on television?

Open the gates of Hell, boys, Saint Ronnie's comin' in!

It is with no small degree of utter glee that I celebrate the untimely death of Ronald Wilson Reagan, bad actor and worse president.

Untimely only in that if John Hinckley would have taken some shooting lessons before he tried to impress Jodie Foster, I wouldn't be writing this and you wouldn't be reading it.

_______________

DING DONG THE WICKED WITCH IS DEAD

During this A* holes reign:

1) My wife was laid off due to health reasons.

2) She was denied Social Security Benefits even though Legislation required Diabetics in her condition receive SS benefits.

3) On the same day that we received notice that her SS benefits had been declined; we found our that her sister-in law had died leaving 4 children orphaned.

4) I was laid off.

5) Ray-Gun's policy required an appeal to a Hearings Examiner in order to receive SS benefits (SS reimbursed only $500 of those costs (hire a lawyer for that))

6) Following My Wife's death I was involved in litigation with MR. THOMAS STEWART OF VASHON ISLAND. A Republican scumbag who charged contributions to various republican candidates to contracts with the US Government (e.g. your tax dollars paid for his political contributions).

Do I feel sorry the wicked witch is dead?????

I don't think so.

F***ing Reagan INVENTED Saddam

Saddam wouldn't have been shit without Reagan, so every body in Saddam's count of dead should also be counted in Asshole Reagan's, too!

-----------------

Poll question: Was Reagan any better than Saddam?

No one would demand that we respect Saddam's death.

Poll result (29 votes)
yes (14 votes, 48%) Vote
no (15 votes, 52%) Vote

Terrorist Raygun dies; every Nazi from his regime is on cable news...

spewing Reichwing lies. Whackjob Ronald Raygun's old cabinet members have been dredged up from the sewers to dominate the air-waves,

Iran-Contra terrorist and savings and loan scandal architect Ronald Raygun dies. We are stuck with the Neo-Con Nazis from Raygun's murderous regime who are responsible for the illegal and immoral invasion of Iraq.

Here is a man who has been stewing in hate for what, 20 years now??? Who, in the last 20 years has evidently never bothered to realize that maybe, just maybe, HE was responsible for his problems. Not Reagan. And after reading his vile post, I believe I may know who caused his pain and suffering. POS, all of them.

Whoa there. I have to set the record straight. IIRC, Ronald Reagan was way too busy giving everybody AIDS in the 80's, I don't recall him spreading diabetes around, can anyone help me out on this?

Regarding these ramblings from DU:

During [Reagan's term]...we found our that her sister-in law had died leaving 4 children orphaned.

I wrote about these types of people in an article. "Other forms of propaganda can lead to long-term, forged, yet unprincipled, party affiliation. They appeal to the personal experiences of the masses: the losing of a spouse, losing of a job or even the losing of a cherished pet during a certain administration. The current administration or congress, depending on the case, becomes the lightning rod for their personal setbacks, because blaming an administration is easier than accepting the real cause. Take, for instance, the layoffs in New York at the Kodak Corporation. Is it fairer to say that the layoffs were the result of a tax cut or even a war against terrorism than, say, the result of digital photography taking an increased share of the Kodak photography market? An oft-repeated slogan like "this is a jobless recovery" or "this is the worst economy since Herbert Hoover" will resonate with anyone that has lost a job in the last four years, regardless of the facts behind the loss. To this day, some people will not cast a vote for a candidate because of an experience they may have had to endure while Nixon was president; never-mind that it occurred decades ago."

Glad to see I haven't lost my marbles.
