Lest We Forget (Kerry's Iwo Jima problem)

counteriwo

On this Memorial day, it's important to remember what a faker John Forbes Kerry is.

On the Project Vote Smart website Kerry was asked to provide his favorites and here's what Liveshot (God Love Howie Carr for calling him that) listed:

Favorites:

Favorite President: Abraham Lincoln. 'Abraham Lincoln saved the Union. We wouldn't be the United States had he not summoned the greatest courage imaginable during the toughest period in our history.' Favorite Books: 'Flags of our Fathers' by James Bradley and Ron Powers 'Undaunted Courage,' by Stephen Ambrose Favorite Food: Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Kerry really needs to explain this. He found the flag raising at Iwo mockable back in the day, and now in his Presidential run he wants to co-opt the heroism of the American Soldiers on Mount Suribachi to get some votes.

Sick-making.

At long last, Kerry needs to be held to account.

Kerrry is a blatant phony.

Unfortunately the partisan press is determined to frog march America down the aisle and into a shotgun wedding with this metro-sexual gigolo;

You're right about the accomplice media.

I find Kerry's new foundreverence for Iwo Jima more evidence of what a disingenuous snake he is. Who is voting for this guy?

We need to disseminate this. When confronted with blatant hypocrisy even some Kerry voting flakes will rethink their support for him. Or so we hope.

Kerry never says or does anything without it first being calculated by him and his political scientists. The book he mentions is somehow tied to the defense that they have cooked up for the flag mocking.

He has more than this to worry about in regards to the Marines. He totally degraded the Marines in a blistering attack in that speech before congress ( I think it was then ) so they are no doubt hard at work coming up with a defense for Kerry's existence.

American Soldiers on Mount Suribachi

Five Marines: Block, Gagnon, Hayes, Sousley, Strank and a sailor: Bradley. Not soldiers.

So, Kerry knows that he has a problem with me. Good. I'm glad he's finally aware that he'll NEVER get my vote!

And I am unanimous in that.

I want an explanation, We're entitled to one. I think he loses the Greatest Generation vote if this tidbit was mainstreamed. Any veteran voting for this phony hack is put of their mind.

Kerry's irreverence towards the sacrifice of the marines at Iwo is just staggering. His pathetic attempt to gloss over it is condescending and outrageous.

Kerry can't declare a "do over" -- his record is that of a guy with open, long-standing hostility and disrespect to the American soldier and the American military. The fact that his campaign thinks it deserves the Vet vote is unconscionable.

Correction: They are Marines, not soldiers.

Carry on.

Good start, Ben. Personally, I feel you have more to add and I hope that you will ping me when you do...you say it so well.

Excellent points. He gets away with this ONLY because of the media. (And possibly the American people's complacency...)
