They have launched a full court press against George Bush, and they have driven down his poll ratings and created a sense of unease and war weariness among the American people. Exactly. Now let's make clear that "journalism" does not confer immunity to treason charges.
What's the difference? The media (ABCNBCCBSCNNPBSNPR; NYT, WAPO, etc.,etc.) are Democrats, practically every man Jack of them; and they are blatantly laying their fat left thumbs on the scales of public opinion.
Is the public buying it? They did this in California, where the LA Times operated as the adjunct & dirty tricks wing of the Davis and Bustamante campaigns, and the TV stations served as megaphones for Democratic talking points -- and they managed to throw the election for both of their heroes.
The public is being offered another golden opportunity to repudiate the would-be nomenklatura of the press. may God help them seize it.
