Kidnappers cut throats of nine hostages, 25 rescued [Khobar]

Saudi special forces rescued 25 hostages today when they stormed a building where suspected al-Qaeda militants had already slit the throats of nine people, a survivor told AFP.

Among the dead were seven Asians, a Swede and an Italian, said Nijar Hijazin, who had himself been taken hostage at the housing compound in the kingdom's Eastern Province yesterday.

"The nine had their throats cut by the kidnappers when they tried to escape at night by the stairs," Hijazin told AFP, watching the removal of bodies.

Hijazin, a Jordanian computer engineer, said he was rescued along with 24 fellow hostages and brought out by the roof.

Sporadic shooting had been heard from inside the apartment block after helicopters landed about 40 troops on the roof amid loud gunfire from automatic weapons just before 5.30am (12.30pm AEST).

Shots had rung out throughout the night, including an intense volley three hours earlier, however calm returned by about 7am.

Al-Arabiya television reported the leader of the militants captured, although there was no official confirmation.

"Asians" (wonder what that means)...it's a pretty generic term.

Everybody else had their nationality listed.

Unfortunately, some were probably Filipino. From maids to engineers, there are a large number of Filipino's working in S.A., and their plight isn't always pretty.

Of course, they could have been from a bunch of different countries.. China, Japan, Thailand..even India. No way of telling.

The press will ignore this in favor of more Abu Ghraib photos.

Sad thing is that the average American will take little notice of this.

We are up against a sick, depraved enemy, one who even makes the Saudi government seem benign by comparison, if that is possible.

Dari Alexander on Fox News asked an analyst yesterday how 4 people could control 50. The analyst told her 4 people with AK47s can easily control 50. Another perfect example of government gun control laws. Citizens in Saudi Arabia aren't allowed guns. Sitting ducks...

So sad, but true. I predict the following headlines in the NY and LA Times and the Washington Post:

Page 1: "Sources Say Iraqis Fed Pork Meat at Abu Ghraib!"

Page 3: "Alleged Insurgents Retaliate Against US Arrogance Amid Bush Foreign Policy Disarray"

A search of news.google.com shows only two media outlets publishing the fact that the hostages had their throats slit: One in South Africa, and one in Australia.

The American media universally has headlines like "Hostages Killed", etc. No mention of the beheadings.

No doubt because these prisoners only had their throats slit by Muslims, instead of having panties put on their heads by Americans.

Saudi has a death penalty and we can pretty much depend on these guy getting it. Sometimes their penalties are carried out publ;icly . Media should cover it. and it shoulod be on every American TV set.

" ... had already slit the throats of nine people ... "

This had been done early on to terrorize into submission the people they had captured.

One by one, to maintain control and further desensitize the hostages, people were murdered in this animalistic way.

And therein is the key to comprehension ...

Every Muslim may not be a murdering terrorist, but every murdering terrorist has been, and is, a Muslim.

It is in the doctrine of Islam to consider all people outside of Islam as less than human ... animals if you will ... and that is why the beheading is so common.

There is not much space left to leap/step over to the recognition that these are human sacrifices ... animals on the altar of blood ... to their Satanic god, allah.

To what extent is the Saudi government and the Saudi people involved in the war on terrorism? Oh, I mean to what do they contribute to the fight against the islamic facist throat slitter enemy who want to rule them as well as the rest of the world.
