I never was a Space enthusiast although my dad was. I went to Florida with him to watch the launch that went to the moon. That was pretty exciting.

In January of 1998, .45MAN took me to my first night launch - up close and personal. We went to Jetty Beach which is about 5 miles from the launch pad. It was the most breath-taking, spectacular sight I have seen in my whole life and will not forget it as long as I live.
We spread a blanket on the beach and sat in total darkness until lift-off. The beach was showered in bright light and I was *stunned* at how many people were there once I looked around during the take-off. People were stunned to silence and only started applauding minutes later.
Truly a God-given sight.
