To: Aquamarine
The one thing we regret not seeing while there is the Smithsonian Institute Museum, that could take up some time but would be well worth it, I'm sure.

When I went all those years ago, I remember that they had the space capsule that John Glenn circled the earth in. *That* was a thrill for me because I was a real NASA nut back then!

The Smithsonian is huge, of course, but I think the "must see" part is the Air and Space Museum. I'm not even a scientific person nor particularly interested in aviation, but found it fascinating.
