ROOTING FOR THE ENEMY
NY Post ^ | May 14, 2004 | JOHN PODHORETZ

A MAN has his head cut off by al Qaeda in Iraq, and The New York Times aggressively markets the idea - on its front page yesterday - that his death is somehow the fault of the United States. "The family of Nicholas E. Berg challenged American military officials on Wednesday," according to lead paragraph in the Times' story, "insisting that the man beheaded by Islamic terrorists in Iraq had earlier been in the custody of federal officials who should have done more to protect him."

The New York Times, it's owners and advertisers, are the ones who supplied the knife to AlQaeda to kill Berg.

If George W. Bush can be defeated in the 2004 Presidential election - then in the eyes of the NYT, they will have done their duty. But the greater good of America, the world, the concept of freedom everywhere, will not be served. In that sense, NYT has become a part of the chaos, a whore to the forces of oppression, and undeserving of any honor in the profession they claim to be a part of. It is bad enough that journalism everywhere has sunk to the level it has, but the damage was largely self-inflicted, especially when it became possible to gather raw information on developing situations without it first being filtered through editorial boards that dictated what was and what was not newsworthy. For years, curiously incomplete stories were fed to the public, tales that had little logic or conisistency. Only years later, when the old files were finally opened, did the rest of the story come out, and some semblence of the truth become available. Too late, by far, in many instances, and long after the perpetrators were dead.

Now, there seems sometimes that almost TOO many facts become available, but in the sure instincts of the majority of people, the BS is filtered out quickly. And in discussion, the old theorem that "All of us are smarter than any one of us" is proved all over again.

As is the puffy pompous putrid Teddy Kennedy. At the very least, he should be censured.

"The New York Times, it's owners and advertisers, are the ones who supplied the knife to AlQaeda to kill Berg."

Take it further..

The satanic New York Times would rather have scads of Americans murdered, than their precious leftist agenda be derailed.

The New York Times aggressively shills for evil.

Pass the word.

And Berg's father chimed in too. I confess myself totally nonplussed by the "self-hating" Jew, that embraces socialism, communism, fascism, or any other totalitaran "ism" that subjugates the individual to the state.

I do NOT understand; after all of the repression, the murder, the gulags, the death camps, the pogroms, how some people still follow the socialist creed.

Loving your oppressor is not clear thinking.

Regards,

Damn Kennedy, why do they keep reelecting him?

Well, when he beat now Gov Romney for his Senate seat, he was losing up until he sicced his boys at the Boston Globe on Romney and Mormonism in general.

His media tools were then busy writing stories about how Mormons are racist, misogynists, extremists, and not really Christians. And since Romney was a Mormon, all that was automatically true of him too.

The first class sneer managed to eke out a win for Sen Swimmer.

I think many people are mesmerized by his Kennedy jowls, his Kennedy teeth, his Kennedy accent, his Kennedy money, his sheer Kennedyness. They worship at the alter of the amazing fire and water god and simply are powerless to resist.

If Berg had been removed forcibly by the FBI after he was in the Iraqi police custody, his parents would be making a huge stink about that. I personally believe that there are terrorists among the Iraqi police and it was they who tipped off Al Qaeda operatives to target Berg as a Jew. I haven't heard his parents blame the people who actually killed their son.

This is absolutely true! George Soros, The New York Times, Time Magazine and a few other publications like them should be held accountable for the murder of Nicholas Berg! I still fail to understand why his father continues to blame the government! There's something here that ain't kosher, believe me!

Since it is now clear that the British photos were faked, couldn't some of the actions performed by those now being prosecuted in military court, have been likewise staged, filmed, and photographed, at the behest of the George Soros of this world who back and finance the Democrats? The Democrats could obtain this material with very little money!

Food for thought!
