I smell an "outed" spy for someone. I would think Justin Raimondo (sp) from the EtherZone will be all over this one!

Very strange. When I first heard some of these things I wondered if perhaps this was an attempt to discredit and deny any sympathy (a sedative to the American Street as it were). Now I'm just not sure. I'd be willing to give his "All Bush's fault" father a pass and chalk it up to emotion and an abusive media but the Berg's filed lawsuits early in May in regard to Berg's detainment. Sounds like people looking for trouble immediately. Quite possibly Berg was indeed a useful idiot. Nonetheless, he was also an American and he was murdered quite probably in direct response to CBS et al's insensitive publication of prison photos.

Glenn Beck is of the opinion that people will pay to listen to his show over the internet. It's a listenable show, but he ain't Rush.

According to John Loftus, Berg had earned $70,000 in the last month in Iraq. I also read that he was carrying Iranian and Jordanian money, as well Iraqi.

And worse yet Michael Berg is calling his sons murderers "friends"

Berg went to Iraq for one reason only, that was to undermine the US and especially President Bush.

He was not a contractor for either the US or Iraqi governments.

He was a Sh!t disturber who got more than he bargained for.

The most pathetic part of this whole tragedy is his fathers shameless pimping of his sons death just so he can take a swipe at the Bush administration.

I don't believe he deserved such a brutal end, but at the same time I find it hard to muster any real sympathy for him.

Actually, the Koran should be titled "How to Hate for Dummies."

Plenty of speculation here:

It's certainly not implausible. Expats frequently get recruited overseas when they stay in one spot long enough and seem like lone rangers. When I was working in Moscow some years back I was recruited by both the Mossad and the FSB. The Mossad lady was quite odd, but it was nice walking around the city with her (she knew it much better than I did). The incompetent FSB dude annoyingly followed me around all the time, but he was friendly enough when I dragged him in out of the snow in the middle of the night after he got drunk & passed out so he wouldn't freeze his stupid a&& to death....

I think he's an American anti-war operative... spying for the anti-war movement, trying to subvert the war effort...thinking that if he could help the enemy adequately, we'd begin losing and then pull out and stop the war.
He didn't believe in evil hence didn't know the islamites are satan's minions - and was brutally slaughtered (God rest his soul) for his naivety.

Just one poster's tin foil sparking up...

"I know my antenna just went up. Really strange."

Good.

Tell me Bob, did you view the [actual] video?
If not I did (thanks to LindaSOG & Phil Dragoo) and lemme tell you, it was horrific.

I'm a crusty old bag who's seen a lot in my time, am not prone to emotionalism, per se; however, this video left me profoundly disturbed.
The savagery something I'd never witnessed first-hand as I'm certain is the same experience of most others.

An intended, *guaged* effect?
Might be, Bob, might be.

After viewing the thing I began to wonder, "Why would the masked idiots [in the film] risk galvanizing a nation like the United States of America much as the Japanese did when they attacked Pearl Harbor?"

It didn't make sense, add to that the Jewish factor & things really begin to distort.

The propaganda value of that film "for" the war effort far & away outweighed whatever "con" value it might've been intended.

So for me, that's when the seed of doubt was planted.

...& now it seems the thing may quickly unravel.

People think they can wander about in dangerous areas without the means to protect themselves, and then are surpised when savages start cutting off their heads. What the heck was he thinking? Maybe it should be called the "Dances with Wolves" mentality.

I was doing a quick search on “The Final Solution to the Jewish Problem” and I came across this book equating the holocaust and our treatment of animals.

Eternal Treblinka: Our Treatment of Animals and the Holocaust

I amazed that the left can still amaze me.
Check out the reviews, they are outrageous.

I am sorry Old Friend, you are way too inquisitive. Can't we just move back to this prisoner orgy problem that Rumsfeld has created?
