Nigerian Muslims Rampage for Second Day

KANO, Nigeria (AP) -
Muslim mobs brandishing machetes and clubs attacked Christians in the streets of Kano on Wednesday as security forces struggled to quell a two-day rampage to avenge a massacre of hundreds of Nigerian Muslims.
Police confirmed at least 30 killed in strife engulfing this northern city, where thousands - mostly minority Christians - cowered in army barracks and police stations as mobs attacked victims outside. Witnesses spoke of scores more slaughtered.

It doesn't matter what the skin color, nationality, or language is - this sorry excuse for a religion is a cancer on our species.

Is anybody else put off by the slant of this article?
Muslims rampaging to avenge the slaughter of hundreds of Muslims by Christians...
Christians cowering in barracks and police stations...
What the article fails to mention (at least in the lead section, which was all I could stomach) was that the Christian's "slaughter" of Muslims was preemptive as the same group of Muslims had been slaughtering another Christian town.
