Three terrorist attacks were prevented or failed this morning - along the Lebanon-Israel border, in Hevron and in Samaria (Shomron).
In the first incident, IDF soldiers on in the north foiled an attempted terrorist infiltration and attack by several Hizbullah terrorists. At approximately 4:30 AM, soldiers detected three suspicious figures crouching-crawling towards the Gladiola military outpost in the Har Dov area. The soldiers opened fire, and the would-be terrorists - who were either poised for an attack or to collect military information - fled back deeper into Lebanese territory. Yesterday, Hizbullah attackers fired anti-aircraft missiles at targets over northern Israeli communities. In response, Israel Air Force planes bombed Hizbullah targets in Lebanon.
Later this morning, a Palestinian terrorist was shot and killed when he tried to grab the weapon of a Border Guard policeman in the vicinity of the Machpelah Cave (Cave of the Patriarchs). In yet another failed attack still later today, terrorists fired at the car of a woman from Ariel near the Shomron community of Alei Zahav. Four bullets struck her car, but she escaped physical injury.
IDF soldiers discovered this morning a 7-kilogram bomb that was placed along an entrance road to an army base in the Mt. Eval area near Shechem. Sappers safely detonated the explosive, and no one was hurt... Hamas in the Shomron suffered two blows today and yesterday, with the arrest of one terrorist leader and killing of another one...
Why are the Israelis expected to "negotiate" with these ****s?
