Mrs. steveo as a teenager used to babysit for a kid on their block in Huntington Beach, CA. She always thought the kid was just missing something. We learned a few years later he was killed by using a hair dryer in the tub to make more bubbles.

Who would win in a psycho-crazy fight, a male nurse or a postal worker?

Teresa Wolfe told police her husband had moved the radio from its usual place in the bathroom to a bench near the bathtub, with an extension cord running into another room. Clever boy -- he even thought about the GFI circuit....
He's an ER nurse.... I think the cops need to look at the records to see if he's got a disproportionate number of deaths among his patients or, for that matter, a disproportionate number of "life savings."

Hey...isn't that your wife I hear in the background? I understand she's drawing your bath....with Rush on the radio.....Eliminate the radio and make it a computer logged into FreeRepublic, and the ploy might work....

Eating Raoul has a lamp(?) thrown in to a hottub. Would-be orgy occupants "die" in petal-like fashion around the tub.

Postal worker...they always seem to pack heat.

I gotta go with the nurse. Postal workers are nothing without their guns. Nurses are versatile.

...to put GFI's in all outlets! My parents bought a condo/townhouse. IRRC, I counted at least 15 GFIs. I told them that's 30 watts, 24 hours/day, all year.
I think it came out to about $2 outlet/year.
So, all the little-used outlets are popped off.

He obviously went to the wrong website. If someone is in a bathtub and you throw an appliance in it is very unlikely to harm the intended victim, although in movies and television it is almost always instantly fatal. The most likely outcome is that the circuit breaker will trip or fuse will blow. (If the circuit is GFI protected it is almost certain to trip out.) Even if the circuit doesn't trip current merely flows from the appliance power cord the ground via the bath water, with almost no effect on the bather.
The >>> DANGER <<< is having your body come into contact with the power mains hot wire while in a bath or shower. If you were in a bathtub and touched an appliance with the power mains shorted to the case, you could receive a very dangerous shock, especially if the circuit is not GFI protected. For instance, if you were handling a hair dryer that somehow had a fault so that the case was electrically "hot" and you were standing in a shower or touched a water tap you could complete a circuit to ground.
Water and electricity don't mix, but superstition and pseudoscience are almost as dangerous a combination.

> Nurse "charged"...
Sounds like it was his wife who was supposed to be "charged."
What is wrong with the headline anyway? I mean, it would be like reading a headline "Electrician charged with trying to O.D. wife." Stick with what you know; leave the electricity to the engineers.

I've got a C. Crane radio, so when I try to electrocute my wife I have to dunk it and then wind it real fast.

And now this dedication from Bill Wolfe of Henderson, Texas, to his lovely wife Theresa. It's Eddy Grant, and
