April 30, 2004--Think you've got the most handsome face in town? Gillette Complete Skincare and Anna Kournikova are looking for the most irresistible face in America.
Gillette Complete Skincare today announced a nationwide search for the "Completely Irresistible Face." The contest offers men the chance to appear in an upcoming Gillette Complete Skincare commercial, along with a prize package worth more than $25,000.
The contest is designed to promote Gillette Complete Skincare, a new line of premium products designed specifically for men. The nationwide search will begin with an open casting call hosted by Ms. Kournikova from noon to 2 p.m. on May 5 at New York City's Times Square Studios, 1500 Broadway. At the event, men can enter the contest, meet Ms. Kournikova and experience Gillette's new product line at a number of skincare stations on site. Men can also enter the contest online at www.gillettecomplete.com and via U.S. mail. The search ends June 27, 2004.
"I'm excited to partner with Gillette to find the most irresistible face," said Ms. Kournikova. "I'm looking forward to attending the casting call - the more entries we get, the more fun the event will be."
"Most men don't realize what a difference a basic skincare routine can make," said Bracken Darrell, vice president, Personal Care, The Gillette Company. "This contest is designed to help educate men about the simple steps they can add to their daily grooming routines for noticeably healthy-looking skin."
Gillette Complete Skincare, the Company's most innovative personal care line to be introduced in more than a decade, helps to deliver noticeably healthy-looking skin in just 14 days, as each product has been specially formulated to deliver five signs of skin health: clean and clear, non-irritated, moisturized, smooth and even toned. The new line includes two cleansers, two shave gels, an after-shave soother and a moisturizer with SPF 15. The facial moisturizer is the only moisturizer for men recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation. The Gillette Company is standing behind the new line with a money-back guarantee.
Gillette Complete Skincare is available now in the U.S. in food, drug and mass merchandise stores. Retail prices range from $2.99 to $5.99 (U.S.).
