Technology is not like it was in any other President's first term. Remember that Al Gore had not invented the internet yet during Clintoon's first term. Dubya's is the first, first term with the internet in full bloom. It's not a wonder to me that books come flying out of peoples minds and backsides as quickly as they do. It can be a blessing and it can be a curse.

If we had this technology during Clintoons first term, he wouldn't have had a second term, Perot or no Perot...and I firmly believe that.

I agree. Clinton sure got a pass from the media on EVERYTHING during his first term,and, except for the Rush Limbaugh show, there was no way to counter it. (I didnt get internet access untill his second term. Too little, too late).
