Here is ANOTHER (similar) rally, from Union of Vietnamese Student Associations of Southern California:
Black April 2004 Commemoration
On April 30th, 1975, Communist troops of North Vietnam overtook Saigon, marking the end of the Vietnam War and the end of a free Vietnam. Millions of Vietnamese people tried to escape the regime fearing retaliation from the new government, now under the control of the Communist Party. They escape by foot on land, or by boats on sea in search of freedom and began the largest exodus of people the world has ever seen.

The ones left behind are living a life without freedoom and basic human rights. To this date, the Communist Party of Vietnam continues its efforts to keep the Vietnamese people in a state of complete submission. Political dissidents are arrested and put into jail without a fair trial and religious leaders are being harassed and discriminated against.

To commemorate this historic date in our country's history, the Union of Vietnamese Student Associations of Southern California organizes each year the Black April Commemoration. With our Black April Education Campaign, we educate the Vietnamese youth community about the history and facts of this event. We go to high schools and VSA/VSU meetings and give presentations on the significance of Black April.

On Friday, April 30th, 2004, we are also organizing in conjunction with Vietnamese Community of Orange County the yearly Black April Commemoration. The Vietnam War Memorial (8200 Westminster Blvd Freedom Park, Westminster, CA 92683) will be the setting for the evening filled with speeches, performances, slideshows, informational presentations, a candle-light vigil and other program highlights. The program starts at 5:30pm and we invite you to join us on this historic commemoration of our history.

Information Time: Friday, April 30th, 2004, 5:30pm

NEVER FORGET

...Just one year ago my Hometown Garden Grove, California became only the 2nd City in America to adopt the FREE Flag of Vietnam as the Officially recognized Flag for its Vietnamese-American Community to fly next to the American Flag of Freedom at their own community functions.

...Today there are ..56... such cities across America, greatly invalidating the Communist Flag that still flies over an enslaved Vietnam..!!!

...Little Saigon's most recent RALLY FOR FREEDOM held on Feb. 15th...

...was to counter former Free South Vietnam Military Leader NGUYEN CAO KY's going to now Communist Vietnam earlier this year to play golf with the Leaders in Hanoi...

...and to counter JOHN KERRY who has also been playing golf with the Communist Leaders in Hanoi ever since he came back from the Vietnam War.

...All Veterans Against JOHN KERRY are most welcome to our May 2nd RALLY FOR FREEDOM.

...From my own personal experience at these Rallies...

...they are simply something to NEVER FORGET.
