Kerry Disowns His SUVs; NewsMax Has the Photos

See the photo of SUV hypocrite Kerry. And check out this humongous one.

Just like many fake self-professed "environmentalists" we know, Sen. John Kerry loves to tool around in the SUVs he'd like to deny his fellow Americans. But now he's blaming his gas guzzlers on others, even the missus.

"I don't own an SUV," Kerry claimed Thursday in Houston when a reporter ruined the senator's holiest of holy days, "Earth Day," by asking whether he owned a Chevy Suburban.

The Associated Press reported today: "Kerry thought for a second when asked whether his wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry, had a Suburban at their Ketchum, Idaho, home. Kerry said he owns and drives a Dodge 600 and recently bought a Chrysler 300M. He said his wife owns the Chevrolet SUV."

The Massachusetts Democrat claimed: "The family has it. I don't have it."

Kerry, by the way, also gets to blame his better half for owning most of those awful energy-guzzling mansions he enjoys roosting in.

I agree with you there and I'm willing to cut the guy some slack. But maybe he should be consistent (haha! Don't hold our breath, right?) and get a modified vehicle to show his "concern" for the environment. You know, a bullet-proof Yugo or Ford Fiesta or something like that. Small but great on gas mileage!

This limo that Newsmax claims is Kerry's is one owned by the Secret Service. He HAS to ride around in this and does not own it.

He does NOT have to ride in the SUV, it is his choice to ride in it. He could ride a skateboard if he wanted to. He also does not have to accept the Secret Service detail, but wants it around to show his importance. The Service views Kerry in much the same way as they viewed Clintoon.

Look at the back window. It has the standard pop-up factory window in the back.

Which means that this on does not appear to be armored. I've taken photos of the SS Suburbans in the presidential motorcade. They don't look stock and sit lower than this one. The plates on the SS vehicles are different too.

The 5.7L HEMI® Multi-Displacement V8 engine with 340 hp at 5000 rpm and 390 lb.-ft. of torque is standard on 300C, making it the most powerful sedan in its class.* The V8 uses a Multi Displacement System (MDS) that allows the engine to operate on four-cylinders when power demands are minimal and/or light for up to 20% more fuel efficiency. So you get the power of a V8 with the economy of a large V6. (EPA estimated mpg: 17 city/ 25 highway)

The 3.5L High Output V6 SOHC with 250 HP at 6400 rpm and 250 lb.-ft. of torque, standard on 300 Touring and 300 Limited. (EPA estimated mpg: 18 city/ 28 highway)

The 2.7L V6 DOHC 24-valve MPI with 190 HP at 6400 rpm and 190 lb.-ft. of torque, standard on the 300. (EPA estimated mpg: 21 city/ 28 highway)

Not exactly a Pirus is it?

"I'm tired of you dam*ed peasants asking these questions. I was in Vietnam and deserve these vehicles to ease the hardship of my war crimes. Teresa, throw some money at the serfs to make them shut up."

I think you nailed him.

Fair enough, but isn't the real story (the one you haven't commented on) the fact that this guy has a talent for saying the stupidest thing one could say under a given circumstance. I hope we see a lot more of Kerry aswering tough questions. And really now, did he and his aides not expect a question like this? He should have had a reasonable answer at the ready.

Instead, he sounds like a complete elitist hypocrite. His answer was very 'Cintonesque' though, for what that is worth to his supporters.

Ok, I will comment on the real story and the innacuracies.

The real story is that Kerry's very own car is built in Canada, a country that is not supportive of our war with terror in Iraq.

Kerry also claims that he does not personally own any SUV's, but his family does. So Kerry is either putting the blame on his wife and kids, which shows that he is a coward, or he is a pukey liar. I think he's both.

He also fails to mention the private jet and Hinkley 42 which are huge gas guzzlers, and does not include the massive amounts of wasted square footage per home that he heats and cools every year.

Soon we will all hear about the water that Teresa tried to divert to her property in Idaho during a draught.

I also want to comment that if Newsmax is going to include a photo of Kerry getting into a Secret Service car with a government plate on it, they should not represent it as one of the vehicles that he owns.

Wrong car. The Chrysler 300M is not the New Chrysler 300C. The M is wimpy compared to the C for this year which has the 340 hp engine.

If Kerry would have purchased the 300C he would still be a wimp and a dork. Just not as much of one.

Official U.S. Government tags, except tags issued by the District of Columbia, Department of Transportation under Sec. 101-38.203-1, shall be numbered serially for each executive agency, beginning with 101, and shall be preceded by a letter code designating the agency having accountability for the motor vehicles as follows:

It doe not appear that this car has US goverment tags.

In the years I covered presidential candidates the Secret Service vehicles had Governemnt tags.

Sounds good to me...... but then even a V6 is a drain on the available natural resources...

nah, maybe Teh-ray-zah cut herself on a diamond ring or something and John awarded her someone else's Purple Heart. After all, if he can throw someone else's medals over the WH fence, why can't he give one to his wife?

That doesn't look like a Purple Heart plate, isn't that just a normal Maryland truck plate?

I think I'll drive my gas-sucking slightly out-of-tune truck home the long way today, and maybe I'll run over an electric car or two on the drive.

(And I want a Hemi-powered Ram 2500 with a trailer package soooooooo baaaaaaddd... *whine*)
