I am gonna guess moose range 800-1200 pounds... about the size of my horse, maybe toward the lighter side if it was sick enough to die.
Got a guy down here who keeps tigers... he asked if he could have my horses when they die. Maybe he should move to moose country.

Costs us a minimum of $100 to haul off a dead llama to the dogfood factory. For moose disposal...drag it to the road and shove it in a ditch. Give those county highway guys something useful to do besides just leanin on their shovels all day. Whenever we see a highway crew around here, they're parked sleeping or drinking coffee. Occasionally there'll be 4 or 5 of them leaning on shovels beside the road somewhere.

"I am gonna guess moose range 800-1200 pounds... about the size of my horse, maybe toward the lighter side if it was sick enough to die."A full-grown bull moose can stand over 6 feet at the hump (shoulder) and weigh anywhere from 1500 to 1800 pounds. That's why hitting one with a car is generally fatal for both combatants.

(That poor guy's so dumb, if he was ever reincarnated, he'd probably come back as himself.)

A mature bull moose could actually be significantly larger than a horse.
One that I saw up close while fishing in Canada, that waded out into the lake I was fishing in... looked really, really big. Like a D-9 Cat, only not yellow.
