"Day of Silence" is coming this Friday, to a public school near you! The "Day of Silence" is a day on which people of all sexual orientations who support homosexuality, bisexuality and transgender rights (does not include heterosexual relationships or marriage) take a 9-hour vow of silence in the classroom to protest the alleged discrimination of these individuals.

Instead of speaking, participants hand out cards explaining their actions, pass out questionable and errneous educational material and wear stickers and t-shirts to publicize further this event and message.
This takes place in the middle of class time and the school day. They conduct follow-up educational events telling people how to end the silence and share the strength of homosexuality, bisexuality and transgender communities.
To find out more, or to get your student an opt out form for the school, visit the CRI Web Site or Eagle Forum Web Site.
I'll be keeping my daughter out of school this Friday, she'll be with me on the show in the studio as we'll be talking about this event and how it impacts students and their education!

You know, come to think of it, maybe they should take a whole month like the Black History contingent...
Hmmm... and to cover all our bases, maybe the Black History guys can go the whole month of February without saying anything.....
Nahhhh, I guess that's asking a little too much of Jesse and Al, huh?

This is great--its a day of celebration for me, too! At least for nine hours, they will STFU! Its the only time they ever do.

Oops...my bad...this would be Wednesday, not Friday. And the issue isn't silence, they make it an issue because of their silence. It really is a LOUD presentation, last year it was a huge problem here in Sacramento. Students become rebellious in the class room, they don't perform or participate. Plus teachers make it a portion of the day's curriculum...it is really sophomoric!

This is one homosexual initiative I support. However I don't think they can keep their mouths shut long enough, if you divine my drift.

Back in the day we would've laughed these fruitcakes right off the school grounds and then our parents would've stormed the principal's office demanding an explanation to why they were there in the first place.

The Silence of the Sickos is what it should be named. The 9 hours vow of silence is to short.
There some info here on FR that deal with homosexuals and their destructive influence on society and governments. Some of it was posted a few days ago having to deal with problems in Demark, Sweden, and other european coutries that have had legalized gay marriage for years.
The hetrosexuals should present information on this day of silence. That shows the destructive influence homosexual behavior has on the society and their government. And let students see the real truth.

This thing is really that big? I work for a public school and I haven't heard a thing about this. Although we are in our testing phase and frankly I see this falling into the "disrupts regular curriculum" slot. I cannot believe how some schools are letting "agendas" be what is learned instead of the required math, English, language arts and science standards.
To: Eric Hogue 1380 KTKZ
This is BS. They'll never shut up for that long.

They conduct follow-up educational events telling people how to end the silence and share the strength of homosexuality, bisexuality and transgender communities. If schools had any sort of interest in tolerance, free speech, and the equal exchange of ideas and thoughts, students would also be allowed to distribute pamphlets supporting traditional marriage.
