Art Bell has lost his edge and his audience in the midwest on weekends with the loozzer guests he keeps having on the program. Too bad.

Maybe we could persuade Tedster to go on??? I think it would be a BIG improvement...

The Cessna 208's are in the upper left corner of the picture. The DC-10's are sideways on the right.

The USAF is currently looking on the gulf coast of Florida for a spot to test fire weapons from 200 miles out in the gulf. The specifically want low density land. I doubt any branch flies the missles over populated areas like Mobile.

>I've just never seen the NTSB report something like this.

I've never seen this
before either, but isn't
this much better than

them making up crap
like sparks in the fuel tank or
something weird like that?!

How many cargo flights are there in the U.S. every single day? Why would the government follow a jet with a UAV. The UAVs aren't jet powered, so how could they follow the jets. Makes NO sense.

I realized my error after posting. Excuse me while I remove my foot from my mouth.

Just browsing this sight....I live here in Mobile, Alabama, and was at work at Brookley field that night. I knew the pilot, Tom Preziose....he was a nice guy.....at any rate....us folks down here in Mobile are just as puzzled
as you!
There are loads of theories about what happened going around down here......missiles, Drones, drug runners, or wake turbulence...though I doubt that very seriously. I also fly, and I can't see where wake turbulence would be the cause...

Houston Center Radar was out that night, so they didn't have the "Big Picture".

Just curious, enroute from Mobile to Montgomery it would look like Jacksonville ARTCC would be in control?

UFO'S are virtually never red anywhere on them except for the lighting effects of the propulsion system in certain stages or modes . . . as I understand things.

Yes, the pilot seemed to be caught in a bad turn of events, not of his doing.

The Discovery Channel and even PBS Frontline have broadcast fantastic shows on the NTSB. Maybe they'd be interested in this incident. It seems frustrating to me that this mishap would just be tossed aside by the national media.
