[history]
April 7, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - President Bush yesterday visited Arkansas to promote his new job-training program, while John Kerry charged that Bush's jobs record is a loser.
Speaking in El Dorado, Bush said he will boost the federal job-training program from 200,000 to 400,000, and vowed to make science and math a bigger requirement in vocational schools.

Protesters clapping together rubber beach sandals called flip-flops, met Kerry and he scolded them, saying, "Obviously, some young Republicans are proving that they're very rude and they have no manners. They don't want to hear the truth."Jaques Kerrie; the Massachusetts DeGaulle..

No sense of humor. No sense of when to keep quiet.
No one watching on television would have even known thee were protesters if this guy hadn't made that comment.
And once again, may I say that the crowd surrounding Kerry looked grim-faced and angry, possibly because Kerry in large doses has that effect on people.

When the Kerry campaign heard that 300,000 jobs were created in March, alone, they wound up their Daschle doll to greet the press and announce that Kerry was deeply saddened by the news that only 300,000 of the 10 million jobs HE will create have been filled. This clearly indicates that Americans simply don't want to work.

This promise of 10 million jobs cracks me up. If you look at the unemployment rate at 5.6% that translates into about 7,280,000 unemployed in America
If Kerry delivers on his promise, we would have America over 100% of our employment capacity and we would be forced to import immigrants or God forbid, outsource to do the 2.72 million surplus jobs.
In the history of the Republic, we have never had full employment and if he was able to "create" 10 million jobs, the inflation rate and interest rates would jump through the roof.
I never went to a journalism school, but I managed to figure this elementary point, how come the media doesn't?

If the media had an ounce of honesty they'd ask Kerry how he proposes to create 10,000,000 jobs. Is he going to wave a magic wand and if he can create 10,000,000 jobs that easy why not create 15,000,000. What a crock of shiite and yet he can make this stupid claim day in and day out without the media asking just how does the Govt create 10,000,000 jobs.

There's a good possibility
Kerry is coming to a Democrat fundraiser near me in a few weeks. I've already made one sign: I cut out and glued photos from a frozen waffle box onto posterboard and wrote, "Where do you stand
today, John (
on anything)?"
I also plan to wear a pair of flipflops around my neck or else staple them to a signpost.

This promise of 10 million jobs cracks me up. If you look at the unemployment rate at 5.6% that translates into about 7,280,000 unemployed in America Dirty little secret: assuming a fairly stead unemployment rate, the economy will add 9 million jobs by 2009 because of population growth alone. Kerry's "10 million jobs" is an attempt to set him up to take credit for doing absolutely nothing if he wins.

The response that Bush got in El Dorado was overwhelming. What kind of response did Kerry receive?
